Welcome to the Centre for Teaching and Learning
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) supports Amity University Dubai’s teaching staff as they work on creating student-centric and contemporary teaching methods. The Centre provides one-to-one sessions, encourages the exchange of internal and external best practices and supplies learning resources to faculty. Reflective sessions to monitor progress of pedagogy through feedback are conducted periodically. Strategic programme enhancement initiatives are also in place to ensure teaching and learning excellence.
Our day-to-day practices at the centre are guided by the fact that each teaching situation is unique and faculty, irrespective of their experience levels, can refine their teaching approaches to accommodate an array of learning styles.

Flipped Learning
Flipped Learning is defined by Flipped Learning Network as "a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter.”
